Designed by Discount Tackle Brand AmBASSador and ultra-light multispecies fishing guru Ethan Dhuyvetter (aka @onlineoutdoorsman) for his Mule Fishing Supply Co. tackle outfit, the Donkey Tail has a petite baitfish profile perfect for catching a wide range of species such as bass, crappie, bluegill, sunfish, trout or really any other small species chasing small bait.

Despite their small size, these baits are loaded with ingenuity. They’re made from a super-stretchy, buoyant, and durable thermoplastic material so they stand-up on the bottom on a jig head and can easily be used to catch multiple fish. These baits are also incredibly versatile; you can swim them on a straight retrieve, fish them on a Ned rig, or even jig them vertically over schools of feeding fish. Additionally, for anglers who desire an even smaller profile, it’s easy to cut the nose portion of the bait off and slim down your offering to a more finesse approach.
